Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Famylink app. By downloading or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About Famylink

Famylink ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile application developed by Greenapps that helps families stay connected by showing the online activity of phone numbers a user has added with permission — including recent online activity, total time online, and side-by-side activity comparisons. The Service is intended solely for following contacts who have knowingly agreed to it (for example, within a family or a household where all parties are aware).

Famylink displays online/offline presence that is publicly available. The Service does not access, read, collect, or store the content of any messages, calls, photos, or other private data, and it does not require access to your or anyone else's messaging account.

Consent is required. You may only add a number that belongs to you or that you have explicit permission to follow (for example, your own number, your child's, or a family member who has agreed). You confirm this permission in the app before adding a number. Using the Service to follow anyone without their knowledge or consent may violate applicable privacy laws, and you are solely responsible for such misuse.

Famylink is an independent application developed by Greenapps. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any messaging platform or social network.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service; the Service is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms and accepts full responsibility for your use of the Service.

By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and that your use of the Service does not violate any applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

3. Your Account

Famylink uses anonymous device authentication — no username, email, or password is required. An account is automatically created and tied to your device when you first launch the app. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your device account.

If you lose or replace your device, your anonymous account and all associated followed numbers cannot be recovered, as we do not collect any identifying information that would allow us to link you to a previous account.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or are using the Service in a harmful or unlawful manner.

5. Subscription and Payments

5.1 Free and Premium Features

Famylink offers a free tier with core functionality and a premium subscription that unlocks additional features. The specific features available in each tier are described within the app and may change over time.

5.2 Subscription Terms

Premium subscriptions are available on a recurring basis (weekly or monthly, as offered in the app). Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store subscription settings.

5.3 Pricing Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Continued use of the subscription after the new price takes effect constitutes your agreement to pay the new amount.

5.4 No Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as required by Apple's App Store policies. Cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current paid period. Premium access continues until the end of the period you paid for.

5.5 Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, you can restore your purchase from Settings → Restore inside the app.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and all of its content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and icons) are owned by Greenapps and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

Activity data displayed in the app is based on information collected by our backend systems and may not be perfectly accurate or real-time. We make no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any online-status information displayed.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GREENAPPS AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 50 if you have not made any payments.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Greenapps and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app and updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
